<Flow of Model Selection>

The following explains the process for selecting a dehumidifier model and the necessary information.

1. First, please monitor the temperature and humidity changes in the target room for 2 weeks to 1 month, approximately every two hours. Ideally, it would be better to compare data during the day and at night, as well as during clear weather and rainy conditions.  (*Download "Temperature & Humidity record form")
   
   

2. The size of the dehumidifier is determined by the target humidity (and temperature) and the total volume of air that needs to be treated. (The following data will generally be required.) (*Download "Selection form")

   1. Room size (volume, ㎥)

   2. Current temperature and humidity (℃, %)

   3. Air exchange rate (times/hour): How many times the room volume air turns over per hour. (This can vary significantly based on room material, airtightness, location, number of people working, frequency of entry and exit, and the presence of ventilator/exhaust fans.)

   4. Target temperature and humidity (℃, %)

   5. Environmental conditions of the room (such as corrosive gases): If the atmosphere at the installation site contains corrosive substances (such as ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, sulfurous acid, nitrous acid, chlorine, etc.), there is a possibility of refrigerant gas leakage due to corrosion of the aluminum fins on the evaporator or the refrigerant copper piping inside the dehumidifier. These substances may originate from swamps, soil, or food waste.

   6. Capacity of existing air conditioning units (kw)
      
      

3. After obtaining the above data, a site visit may be necessary (if required).  

   1. If installation of the dehumidifier unit is needed, measurements can be taken on-site during this visit (confirming user power specifications, drain disposal routes, etc.). 
      
      

4. Model selection and quotation will be provided.
