By switching from existing ejectors to small vacuum pumps, you can reduce unnecessary energy consumption. An ejector is a device that uses compressed air from an air compressor (typically with a discharge pressure of about 0.69 MPa) to generate secondary vacuum (approximately -0.05 MPa). However, using costly compressed air produced by the air compressor and then reducing its pressure is inefficient and a waste of energy, as it continues to consume compressed air during vacuum use. If the vacuum usage or cycle time is above a certain level, using a small pump is more economical.
In an ejector, the compressed air used to create a vacuum is simply discharged as waste. By replacing it with a vacuum pump, you can directly supply the exact vacuum pressure needed.
