2. PERIODICAL MAINTENANCE FOR ELEMENT & AUTO DRAIN

This is a device connected to air dryers and receiver tanks to collect and discharge the drain removed from compressed air.

Dust and debris in the compressed air may clog the internal mechanisms, causing issues such as "continuous air blow" or "failure to discharge drain." Therefore, daily checks and regular disassembly and cleaning are essential.

• Daily checks: 

① Is the drain being properly discharged? 

② Is there any air leakage other than from the outlet? 

③ Is debris accumulating inside the bowl? 

• Regular disassembly and cleaning: Use a cleaning brush and air gun to clean the inside.

An item installed on the piping before and after the air dryer to remove impurities (such as water droplets, foreign substances, and oil, depending on the filter type) in the compressed air.

• 1. When installing an LSF (line filter, 1 micron) before the dryer, please do not attach a differential pressure gauge. (This may cause water to enter the gauge, leading to malfunction.)

• 2. When opening or closing the valves on the piping before and after the filter, do so slowly. (Sudden operation may damage the element or differential pressure gauge.)

• 3. When releasing air from the piping or receiver tank, always do so from the outlet (air exit) side. (Air backflow can damage the element or differential pressure gauge.)

• 4. The filter element is a consumable part. Please replace it 1 year after installation or when the differential pressure gauge reads between 0.035–0.07 MPa (0.02 MPa for DSF), whichever comes first.
